[powr-image-slider label="louise"] A bright, tropical-coloured installation, ideal for the summer season, Louise West’s vibrant artwork lit up the Pitfield London exhibition gallery. ‘Common Birds’ was inspired by Louise’s great aunt, Katy Cullis, whose stunning paintings of birdlife encouraged the whimsical, sometimes quirky and humorous paintings of Louise. Spanning four generations, the installation also presented covetable collaborative products to include a unique wallpaper, bright bone china mug, and traditional tea towel with a cheeky twist. The show was a bird bonanza, complemented by ornaments of birdlife, both common and exotic.
