Co-Owned by Eddy Grappy, our café is an extension of the Pitfield lifestyle, bringing you a community umbrella, an inspired gathering place in which to socialise or work. Freshly ground specialist coffee compliments chocolate brownies, indulgent muffins, delicious cakes and luscious fluffy meringues. On the savoury side, healthy salads, tasty flatbreads and classics such as chicken pie and lasagne, all using local produce, are on our menu.
Join the Pitfield club! Every Saturday at 9am then at 11am, kick start your weekend and beat that hangover with an outdoor workout session in Shoreditch Park or around the local area, returning to Pitfield café for a comforting, delicious and nutritious breakfast of poached egg and avocado with a mouthwateringly good fruit smoothie. Top personal trainer, Ben Sharp, will meet you outside Pitfield before each session, which lasts for 2 hours (including breakfast). Just £20 per session or book 10 sessions for £150. Adj Louarradi: Head Chef
Born in Bath, Adj grew up around cooking, coffee and catering. Food was always a focus in the family and Adj discovered his own passion for the food industry working in his father’s coffee shop. Moving to London to pursue his dreams of being a top chef, Adj started out as the Assistant Chef at Sweet Boulangerie and Patisserie in Clerkenwell (owned by Pitfield café’s co-owner Eddy Grappy). Adj was then promoted to Head Chef at Pitfield London. His favourite thing to bake? “Our famous chocolate brownies, trust me, they’re simply delicious!”
Amal Abkari: Café Manager
Amal was born in France and came to London “on an adventure” in 2006, and hasn’t looked back! Amal has always worked in the food industry, with a strong pub management background, but was attracted to Pitfield London’s friendly atmosphere. Her favourite thing about Pitfield is “my positive staff and the mouthwatering fresh salads – I love the variety, from couscous with chickpeas to avocado and tomato or sweet potato and roasted veg. We mix it up everyday.”
